Current research projects

TDC's interdisciplinary research works with a wide range of different subjects all related to how structural og contextual factors interact with health: for instance education, employment, food formation, family, ethnicity, community and physical environment. 

Current research projects include:

  • "Young people's path from socially exposed housing to youth education - opportunities, potentials and challenges for young people in a socially vulnerable housing area" (PhD project)

  • “Processes of change in Tingbjerg: An investigation of the processes of making and implementing a social health intervention in a disadvantaged neighborhood” (PhD project)

  • "Cooking classes for families in Tingbjerg" - focusing on food literacy, parenting and Design Thinking methodology.

  • "Empowerment, community and health promotion in an rural-urban collaboration" - exploring the potentials of mobilising the residents ressources and community engagement in the collaborative project between Tingbjerg community and Svanholm farm.
